Women in Trades Event

Are you a woman interested in a career in the trades? Join us in an informal, open setting to learn about a variety of careers within trades across the City of Tacoma including Power, Water, Rail, Public Works, and Environmental Services. You’ll hear from female leaders at the City, discuss the many trade careers, learn about career advancement, and hear first-hand accounts of what it’s like for a female journey-level employee. We will also explain the hiring process and provide information about salary and benefits. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in this safe, open environment.

- 5:10 p.m. – Review application process
- 5:25 p.m. – Q&A with panel
- 6:05 – 7 p.m. – Networking
