As a reminder, TPU will never call, email or make a home visit demanding immediate payment, or request credit card, banking, financial information, or a prepaid card. We will never shut off service without providing written notice at least 7 days in advance.

Tacoma Power offers Water Access Grant opportunity for Cowlitz River basin projects

Tacoma Power is accepting applications for a grant of up to $89,120 to construct a public water access facility in the Cowlitz River basin upstream of the Toutle River. Eligible examples include docks, boat launches, beaches, trails, parking lots, restrooms, picnic areas, or similar improvements.

Agencies, Native American Tribes, governments, and non-profit groups are eligible to apply. Applications are due by March 22, 2019. The Water Access Evaluation Committee, comprised of representatives from Tacoma Power and several state/federal recreation agencies, will announce the grant recipient by June 3, 2019.
