On May 9, 2025, City of Tacoma email addresses using @CityofTacoma.org will change to @Tacoma.gov. Emails sent to old and new addresses will continue to reach the intended recipient, ensuring a smooth transition. Outgoing emails from General Government and Tacoma Public Utilities employees will be sent from @Tacoma.gov.
This change coincides with the City of Tacoma’s upcomming website modernization, which is set to launch April 30, 2025. The current website, found at CityofTacoma.org, will relaunch as Tacoma.gov and feature an enhanced user experience, mobile-friendly design, updated content, and more accessibility.
More information about the upcoming changes, including FAQs and how to provide feedback, is available at CityofTacoma.org/WebRedesign. After the anticipated April 30, 2025 launch, existing cityoftacoma.org URLs will automatically redirect to the new website to minimize disruption for users.
