To be eligible, customers must be a residential Tacoma Power customer, own or lease a fully battery electric vehicle or plug in electric hybrid, and own their own EV charging equipment.
Beginning August 1, Washington State will provide a sales and use tax exemption on sales or leases of certain electric passenger cars, light duty trucks and medium duty passenger vehicles – including used.
