Rental Light Program

Tacoma Power provides customers with private lighting options

      • For a monthly charge, you can rent lights we install, own, and maintain on existing Tacoma Power poles (TMC12.06.300).
      • When feasible, additional poles and equipment may be installed for an added charge.
      • Construction times for new poles depend on engineering time, material, and crew availability.
      • We do not install or maintain lights on buildings or non-Tacoma Power-owned poles.
      • Private lighting is not intended to replace City or County streetlights.
