Public EV Charging
Find convenient places to charge your electric vehicle while you’re out in Tacoma.
Tacoma Power and the City of Tacoma are expanding access to public EV charging throughout the community, including street-side chargers in neighborhood business districts and downtown charging options.
Streetside EV Chargers
Level 2 chargers are available in many of Tacoma’s neighborhood business districts, giving EV drivers another option to charge while visiting shops, restaurants, and services.
The chargers were installed in locations that could use existing electrical infrastructure while meeting parking and streetlight poles.
