Program Requirements
To qualify for a Tacoma Power HVAC rebate:
- New qualifying equipment must be installed at a business location within Tacoma Power’s Service territory.
- Equipment must meet the technical specifications and efficiency requirements listed on the applicable rebate form.
- Additional eligibility requirements may vary by equipment type and project.
- Review the rebate application and equipment requirements before purchasing or installing equipment.

Planning a larger project?
Large-scale or more complex energy-efficiency projects may qualify for Tacoma Power’s Custom Retrofit Program, which can cover up to 70% of eligible project costs.

Submit your application
You may submit equipment rebate applications before installation or within 180 days after installation.
Include a final invoice and post-installation photos with your application.
