If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to represent TPU and demanding payment, hang up immediately. As a reminder, TPU will never call, email or make a home visit demanding immediate payment, or request credit card, banking, financial information, or a prepaid card. We will never shut off service without providing written notice at least 7 days in advance.
If you think someone is trying to scam you, contact us at 253-502-8600 Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., to find out if payment is due and report a suspicious call. MyTPU.org/Scams.

Welcome to the new MyTPU.org

The refreshed Tacoma Public Utilities website, MyTPU.org is now live. We intend to provide you with a more seamless experience accessing payment and billing information, outage updates, learning about projects in our community and much more.

The new, mobile-friendly site allows you to access relevant information on the go and features improved organization and navigation determined by research done with customers and employees.

What you need to know:

  • Use our billing platform, MyAccount, the same. No need to change or reset your login information; the new MyTPU.org remains secure.
  • Visit the “Projects” page under “Community & Environment” to find details about utility work in the community you may care about or that could impact you.
  • Search the site for specific items that interest you using the magnifying glass icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
  • Add utility-related events to your calendar from ours by using the links on a specific event listing.
