In addition to charges for your electricity and water, your utility bill also covers solid waste, recycling, wastewater, and stormwater. Although we combine these services into one bill for your convenience, TPU does not directly manage solid waste, recycling, wastewater, or stormwater. These services are managed by the City of Tacoma.
