Conditions in December 2016

River conditions and weather
Since the beginning of the 2017 water year (Oct. 1, 2016), flows in the Green River have largely remained above normal and are expected to continue at, or slightly above, normal through the winter. This winter, near normal rainfall is expected, but with a greater chance of extreme conditions, such as wind storms, cold weather and flooding.

Water storage
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is operating in flood control mode and maintaining an empty pool until refill operations begin in late February.
