
Linda McCrea, superintendent
Linda was appointed as superintendent of Tacoma Water in 2010. Linda joined Tacoma Water in 1980 as a civil engineer. In 1993 she began serving as the utility's distribution manager and in 2006 she became the utility's deputy superintendent. She holds a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Washington and is a licensed civil engineer.
Linda serves on both regional and statewide committees representing the interests of drinking water utilities and their customers as well as Tacoma Water. She is currently chair of the Washington Water Utility Council; a past chair of the Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association and treasurer for the Water Supply Forum.

Heather Pennington, Resource Planning Deputy Water superintendant
Heather joined Tacoma Water officially in 1994 and became the utility's resource planning deputy water superintendant in 2011. She holds an MBA from Pacific Lutheran University and a B.S. in environmental engineering from Northwestern University.
Heather's professional affiliations include the Washington Water Utility Council, Prtnership for Water Conservation and the American Water Works Association.

Ray West, Distribution Operations manager
Ray became the utility's distribution operations manager in 2006.
Ray evaluates and certifies individuals as facilitators and team members in the concepts of quality management and team building. He conducts training for Sexual Harassment Prevention, Employee Development Review and Systems for the 21st Century.
Ray's professional affiliations include being the former chair and a current member of the Pacific North West affiliations subsection of the American Water Works Association Distribution Committee, and the former chair and a current member of Youth Building Tacoma Advisory Board. He is also a board member for the Pierce County Utility Coordinating Council.
Chris McMeen, Water Quality deputy water superintendant
Chris joined Tacoma Water in 2002 as a water quality engineer. He became the utility's water quality manager in 2004 and the utility's water quality deputy water superintendant in 2011. Chris holds a M.S. and B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Washington. He served in the U.S. Peace Corp as a water engineer in Kenya and the Dominican Republic.
Chris' professional affiliations include the American Water Works Association and the International Ozone Association.

Glen George, Water Supply manager
Glen became the utility's water supply manager in 2010.

Jane Evancho, Rates, & Financial Analysis manager
Jane joined the City of Tacoma in 1987 and became a Tacoma Water manager in 1993. She holds a B.S. and M.S. in agricultural engineering from Oregon State University and a B.S. in soil science from the University of Arizona.
Jane's professional affiliations in include serving on the American Water Works Association for more than 15 years and six years of service on the YWCA board of directors.
