We welcome you to Tacoma Power Parks for camping, boating, fishing, swimming and other outdoor fun. Please be aware that we don't allow fireworks at our parks.

Reserve now for the best selection of individual sites this summer. Reservations are also going fast for our popular group camps.

Plan ahead
Individual sites are open for reservations between May 15 and Sept. 15. You may reserve sites 9 months in advance of your arrival date. 

It costs less to reserve online:
$6.50 - reserve online
$8.50 - call (888) CAMPOUT (226-7688) between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily, except Christmas and New Year’s days

Minimum change or cancel fees:
$8.50 - change or cancel online 
$10.50 – call (888) CAMPOUT (226-7688) 
Additional fees apply when changing or cancelling seven days or fewer days before you're scheduled to arrive. 

Fees for date changes

• More than seven days before you’re scheduled to arrive, you’ll pay an $8.50 fee online or $10.50 at (888) CAMPOUT.
• Seven days or fewer before you’re scheduled to arrive, the fee is one night’s stay.
• You may extend your stay without an additional administrative fee online, at (888) CAMPOUT or at check-in if we have space available.

Fees for site changes

• If you change sites less than seven days before you've scheduled to arrive, you'll pay an $8.50 fee online or $10.50 at (888) CAMPOUT.
• At check-in, choose an available site for free.

Call the whole thing off!
Cancel online or call (888) CAMPOUT to cancel your reservations.

Cancellation fees:

• More than seven days before you’re scheduled to arrive - $8.50 online or $10.50 at (888) CAMPOUT. 
• Seven or fewer days before you’re schedule to arrive - Up to two nights’ use fees.

Planning ahead is good, but we can’t cancel sites more than eight months ahead of your scheduled arrival date.

Let us know if you won’t show
If we don’t see or hear from you by 1 p.m. the day after you’re scheduled to arrive, we will consider you a no-show and will charge up to three nights’ camping fees.

Discounts
We offer $5 per night discounts to people who:

• Are 62 years old or more
• Have a disability parking placard
• Have a Washington State Parks disability or disabled veteran pass

You must occupy the campsite and show proof of eligibility to receive the discount.

Refunds
If you paid with a:

• Credit card, we will ask for your card number to credit the same account.
• Check or money order, we will mail you a check from the City of Tacoma

High-demand holiday weekends
You must reserve and pay for two consecutive nights on Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends. Saturday-only reservations are not available.

Reservation fees
We charge an administration fee in addition to your campsite costs:

• Individual campsites - $6.50 online or $8.50 at (888) CAMPOUT
• Group campsites - $15 per group

Eight is enough
We allow up to eight people to occupy each campsite.

Day use and boat launching
$5 Day-use parking - Weekends and holidays between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends  

Time to play

• Campground check-in begins at 2:30 p.m. Check out is at 1 p.m.
• Day-use visitors may use the boat launch and picnic areas between 8 a.m. and dusk.
• Parks are closed between December 20 and January 1.

Registration

• Please register at the park when you arrive to secure your site, pay extra vehicle fees or confirm discounts.
• Bring your confirmation letter to speed up the registration process.
• If we’ve closed the gate for the day, please open the gate and then close it after you have entered the park. You may register the next morning.
