If you are interested in using green, non-polluting renewable power, but can't afford to install your own renewable generating system, consider enrolling in Evergreen Options.

Our Evergreen Options program is voluntary and allows you an opportunity to purchase electricity that is produced in the Northwest from non-polluting wind or solar generators. For an additional 1.2 cents per kilowatt-hour, you can power your home with clean, green renewable energy. Minimum participation is $3 for 250 kWh, but you can buy as much green power as you want.

In 2005, we purchased new renewable energy resources for our EverGreen Options program. As a result, we're supplying you with 25 percent more green power per dollar at all subscription levels. This supply portfolio of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), also known as green tags, was assembled by the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). Green tags are generated from certified new wind resources in the Pacific Northwest Green tag purchases directly support the development of new certified renewable electricity generation in the Pacific Northwest.
