New technology for heating and cooling your home
You may be wondering…what is a ductless heat pump? It’s a highly efficient heating and cooling system that can serve as a primary heat source for electrically heated homes. It can also supplement homes with existing baseboard or wall heaters, or other space heaters. It’s especially well suited to homes with open floor plans.
Ductless systems have an outdoor compressor and a small indoor unit usually mounted near the ceiling. They can augment or replace a zonal heating system, like electric baseboards, or be used in a room addition or converted living space.
Ductless systems can use 25 to 50 percent less energy than electric resistance or forced air systems.
