Washington state offers rebates to replace appliances with qualified energy-efficient models. The Cash for Appliances program includes:

• Clothes washers: $100 back on a qualifying model*
• Refrigerators: $75 back to recycle your old fridge and buy a qualifying new model*
• Dishwashers: $75 back on a qualifying model NEW
• Electric heat pump water heaters: $400 back on a qualifying model NEW
• Ductless heat pumps: $750 back on a qualifying model NEW

Combine Tacoma Power’s rebates with Cash for Appliances for even greater savings*
You can combine Washington state’s appliance rebates with existing Tacoma Power and Tacoma Water rebates:

• Clothes washers: Get up to $100 back on a qualifying model. Combined with the Cash for Appliances rebate, that’s up to $250 back.
• Refrigerators: Get up $30 back to recycle your old fridge or freezer. Combined with the Cash for Appliances rebate when you buy a qualifying new model, that’s up to $105 back.
