Tacoma Water crews have fixed the water main break that caused icy and dangerous conditions on East Portland Avenue this morning, and has begun the process of removing the three inches of ice on the road. Road crews will use de-ice machines, as well as salt and graters to improve the driving conditions.
The road should be open and drivable this afternoon.
