Customers should call (253) 502-8602 to report power outages.
Tacoma Power crews have restored power to all but about 5,000 customers and are working on fixing those now.
The areas still affected include:
- Near Point Defiance Zoo – About 100 customers still do not have power. The crews are repairing damage to the line.
- Around Foss High School
- Along 6th Avenue from Pearl Street to Titlow Beach Park and on Pearl Street from N 11th to S 11th - tree in power line
- Around Mt. Tahoma High School – tree in power line
