A mudslide near 4224 Marine View Drive has caused power outages at approximately 100 homes in that area, as well as near the 4700 block of Browns Point Boulevard.
The slide caused damage to two power poles and a power line. Tacoma Power crews anticipate that conditions will not allow them to restore power today. The utility does not yet have an estimate for when it can restore power.
