The “Click! Family Flick” will premiere at The Grand Cinema with “The Princess Bride” on Saturday, March 21 at 10:30 a.m. The special series, shown the third Saturday of each month, will bring popular children’s movies to the big screen absolutely free.
“The Click! Family Flick is a great way for families to experience a movie on the big screen at absolutely no charge,” said Mitch Robinson, Click! Cable TV marketing and business operations manager. “Both Click! and The Grand Cinema are committed to being a big part of our community, so we thought it would be a great idea to create a way for families to share in some fun by enjoying some classic family favorites.”
Upcoming movies include:
March 21 - “The Princess Bride”
April 18 - “An American Tail”
May 16 - “Babe”
June 20 - “Back to the Future”
July 18 - “Shrek”
Aug. 15 - “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”
All movies start at 10:30 a.m. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Movies are subject to change. Seating is on a first-come, first–served basis.
The Grand Cinema is located at 606 Fawcett Ave. S in Tacoma.
