If you seek a way to pay for your electricity within your budget, look no farther.

Traditionally, you use electricity and then get billed monthly or bimonthly. Tacoma Power's Pay-As-You-Go program allows you to buy electricity in amounts you determine and at times convenient for you.

If you have a balance on your current electric bill, you can convert it to a zero-interest installment plan. The plan allows you to pay off your balance over time without having to pay one lump sum.

Before introducing Pay-As-You-Go more widely, the program is being offered as a pilot to a limited number of residential customer. You don't have to be a homeowner to participate. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return to the regular billing method at any time.
