New Power rates in effect April 1
Residential customers will see an average monthly increase of $3.70 on their utility bill.
Our Water Supply
The Green River Watershed is a mid-elevation watershed and benefits from both snowpack and spring rains. If the snowpack is low, then we depend more heavily on spring rains to fill Eagle Gorge Reservoir. The forecast calls for sufficient rain to fill the reservoir, so we feel we will have sufficient water supplies to meet our customers’ projected use.
Evergreen Options Grant
Tacoma Power will award one $50,000 grant to help a non-profit, school, or government agency, buy and install their own renewable energy projects. This reduces their carbon footprint and can save them money for years to come! Submit your application or encourage others to apply before May 31 to be considered.
